"Todas las cosas que perdí en ti, ¿están perdidas en ti?", canta LP en su super reconocido hit mundial “Lost on You”.  

Esta canción trata sobre la ruptura de LP con su novia.  "Cuando escribí esa canción, me faltaba un año para romper con esa persona", dijo LP a The Independent. "Fue como ser asfixiada lentamente... Siempre que entro en una relación quiero que dure para siempre, creo que la mayoría de la gente lo hace, y luego tenés ese período de miedo en el que te das cuenta que no está funcionando".

"Es un sentimiento de impotencia porque no podés hacer que alguien se enamore de vos otra vez".   Dijo LP en su reciente entrevista con Cultura Colectiva (México).   La idea es aún más clara en el videoclip, donde LP aparece en un contexto oscuro pensando en la mujer que se fue de su vida. La misma cantante aseguró en entrevista para Noisey: "Es lo más cercano que he estado de tener una representación íntima de mis recuerdos y mi vida real mezclándose. Aumentó mi sentido de seguir adelante y de cómo se ve".

L.P. es una cantante norteamericana de ascendencia italiana, con un estilo más que propio en su voz lírica y su característico "silbido", con sonidos que se acercan a Florence Welch o Janis Joplin.

Ha escrito o co-escrito canciones para Cher ("Red" y "Pride"), Rihanna ("Cheers, Drink to That"), Christina Aguilera ("Beautiful People"), Leona Lewis ("Fingerprint"), Backstreet Boys ("Love will keep you up all night"), entre otros artistas.
