Es el Segundo lanzamiento de la serie de Box Sets de David Bowie, que será lanzado el próximo 23 de Septiembre 2016.


CD, DIGITAL Y VINYL / BOX SET QUE INCLUIRA EL “ALBUM” INÉDITO DE BOWIE ‘THE GOUSTER’



Parlophone Records / Warner Music se enorgullece de anunciar la salida del material: ‘WHO CAN I BE NOW? (1974 – 1976)’ de DAVID BOWIE, el segundo lanzamiento de una serie de Box Sets que abarca su carrera desde 1969.


La continuación de la compilación tan galardonada y aclamada por la crítica: DAVID BOWIE ‘FIVE YEARS (1969 – 1973)’ será lanzada el próximo 23 de Septiembre y contendrá el disco inédito de 1974 ‘THE GOUSTER’.


La caja que incluirá 12 CD’s, 13 Vinyles y descarga digital incluirá todo el material oficial lanzado por Bowie durante la fase: “Americana” de su Carrera que abarcó los años 1974 y 1976.

El Box set, el cual fue nombrado en honor a un tema grabado en 1974, pero que no fue lanzado sino hasta 1990, incluye: ‘DIAMOND DOGS’, ‘DAVID LIVE’ (Original y la mezcla del 2005), ‘YOUNG AMERICANS’ y ‘STATION TO STATION’ (Original y la mezcla del 2010) asi como: ‘THE GOUSTER’, ‘LIVE NASSAU COLISEUM 76’ y una nueva compilación titulada: ‘RE:CALL 2’ la cual es una colección de singles y de B-Sides.


'Rock 'n' Roll With Me' de “Re:Call 2” será ofrecida como Instant Grat junto con cualquier pre-compra digital.


Todos los formatos incluyen temas que no habían aparecido nunca antes en ningún disco o compilaciones.


Exclusivamente para el Box Set, se incluirá: ‘THE GOUSTER un disco inedito que fue grabado en los estudios Sigma Sound, en Filadelfia allá por 1974 y producido por Tony Visconti. El disco fue mezclado y masterizado antes de que David emprendiera su aventura musical junto a John Lennon y Harry Maslin en Nueva York, que se traduciría en el disco ‘YOUNG AMERICANS’. ‘THE GOUSTER’ contiene tres mezclas nunca antes escuchadas de “Right”, ‘Can You Hear Me’ y ‘Somebody Up There Likes Me’.


Para este lanzamiento, Tony Visconti trabajó sobre las Cintas originales para re-masterizar el disco, así como retocar las fotografías tomadas por Eric Stephen Jacobs y de esta forma, todo unificarlo en una portada basada en uno de los conceptos originales de David sobre este disco.

Además, el CD, vinyl, digital, incluirá la mezcla realizada por Harry Maslin del tema ‘STATION TO STATION’ que viene en DAVID LIVE (previamente solo disponible en DVD y sonido 5.1 como parte del ‘STATION TO STATION’ Deluxe box set del 2010) y ‘RE:CALL 2’.


‘RE:CALL 2’ incluye la mezcla original del tema: ‘Rebel Rebel’, que fue incluída solamente en la edición de 40ta. Aniversario, Picture Disc en el 2014. Además en el CD, también se incluye por primera vez una versión editada del tema: ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll With Me’, que fue utilizada por las estaciones de radio en los Estados Unidos y ayudó a promover el disco: ‘DAVID LIVE’


‘RE:CALL 2’ incluye un arte original con las imagines tomadas en 1975 en la session de ‘STATION TO STATION’, tomadas por el amigo de David y corista Geoff MacCormack aka Warren Peace.

La portada alternativa de la versión del 2010 para:‘STATION TO STATION’ por Harry Maslin, incluye la portada a color que originalmente se intentó que fuera pero que no trascendió y que fue remplazada por la imagen a blanco y negro que hoy conocemos.


El Box Set con el Vinyl incluye lo mismo que los CD’s, pero las versiones están impresas en vinyles de 180 Gramos.
