Robbie Williams ha anunciado hoy que una nueva edición deluxe de 'Life Thru A Lens', su álbum debut como solista, con ventas multimillonarias, se lanzará el 2 de diciembre para celebrar el 25 aniversario del disco.
El álbum especial ampliado de 4 CD, disponible en UMC/Island Records, combina el disco original que encabezó las listas de éxitos, incluidos los exitosos sencillos 'Angels', 'Let Me Entertain You', 'Old Before I Die', 'Lazy Days' y 'South Of The Border', así como bonus tracks y lados B
La nueva edición también incluirá demos inéditos, grabaciones de ensayos y remixes raros, así como un primer lanzamiento en formato de audio del concierto completo grabado en The Forum de Londres en junio de 1998, lanzado ese noviembre como 'Live In Your Living Room' en Cinta VHS y VCD pero nunca reeditada.
'Life Thru A Lens' se lanzó originalmente en septiembre de 1997 y pasó dos semanas en el número 1 en la lista de álbumes del Reino Unido y 92 semanas en el Top 40 del Reino Unido. Ha vendido 2,1 millones de copias solo en la Gran Bretaña. La edición deluxe estará disponible en una caja de 4 CD, vinil y formatos de descarga digital y está disponible pre-ordenar ahora.
Robbie aseguró su décimo cuarto álbum número 1 en el Reino Unido el mes pasado con 'XXV', que encabezó la lista en su primera semana de lanzamiento. Con este increíble logro, el ícono de la música ahora ha batido el récord del artista solista con la mayor cantidad de álbumes Número 1 en el Reino Unido: solo los Beatles ahora tienen más álbumes Número 1 en el Reino Unido que Robbie con 15. Su total de álbumes en el Reino Unido que encabezan las listas de éxitos en su carrera como solista y los discos lanzados con Take That ahora asciende a 19.
